Suzi Slight, RVT

Suzi (Go Bucks!) Slight has been with the clinic for over 50 years, the majority of those years serving as a Veterinary Technician. Her duties include lots of client contact, both in and out of the exam room, answering questions for those who stop in to the clinic or perhaps call on the telephone. Suzi assists the doctors in the exam rooms, holding pets and collecting any lab samples necessary.

Suzi and her husband Don have three adult children and eight grandchildren, along with a yellow Lab named Hayes. Her interests include OSU football during the season, camping and spending lots of time with her grandchildren.

Denise Davis

Denise Davis started working at the clinic July, 1998.  She is the clinic Kennel Assistant, taking care of your pets while they are here.

Married on New Year’s Eve (1997) Denise and her husband Glen live outside of Malinta with their sons Paul, Glen Jr. and Rick.   Movie fanatics, they have an extensive Disney collection.    Sharing their home are their cats, Boots, Ines, Oreo, Sabrina, T.J., Talula, Fizz and Toby.

Hope Kiessling, RVT, VDT

Hope Kiessling joined the clinic in April, 2000 as Appointment Secretary, attended Stautzenberger College in 2001 and became a Veterinary Technician. She’s also certified as a Veterinary Dental Technician.  When your pet is here for a teeth cleaning and dental procedures, Hope takes excellent care of them.  She also manages our inventory along with all of her other Vet Tech duties.

Hope lives in Defiance with her four children, Claire, Andrew, Rose and Luke. Their family also includes a Lab named Nora and Frenchies named JC, Vivian and Elinor, several cats and rabbits.

In her spare time Hope enjoys camping with her family.

Theresa Hite, RVT, VTS (anes-analgesia)

Theresa Hite is a graduate of Stautzenberger College’s Veterinary Technician program.  She joined the staff at Napoleon Veterinary Clinic in 2003. Theresa was credentialed in 2011 for Veterinary Technician Specialty in Anesthesia.  She spends most of her time taking care and monitoring pets before, during and after any anesthetic procedure.

She has four children, Carter, Colton, Carly and Caden. Other family members include dogs, Finn, Billy and Willow along with her cat Wilbur.

Theresa’s  hobbies include reading, horseback riding and scuba diving. She also loves music, sports and being outside.

Melissa Allen, RVT

Melissa is a 2015 graduate of Stautzenberger College and she joined our family in September of 2015.  She helps and monitors our patients who are hospitalized, works in laboratory, x-ray and pharmacy.

Melissa married Brian in 2016 and they live in Malinta with their daughters Sophia and Judy along with dogs, Chloe , Lucy, Chevy and Hank.

Melissa’s hobbies include hunting and fishing.

Brooke Abel, RVT

Brooke Abel graduated from Brown Mackie College in 2017 and started her career at NVC at that time. She helps monitor our patients who are hospitalized, works in laboratory, x-ray and pharmacy. She also has a special interest in helping with animal behavior cases. 

She lives in Napoleon with her husband, Sean, and her daughter, Eryn.  They have three dogs and cat named Loki.  She loves kayaking, reading and playing volleyball as well any other outdoor activities.

Erin Holzer , RVT

Erin graduated in 2012 from Stautzenberger College. Her daily duties include patient care, client education, running diagnostic labwork and assisting in radiology.

Erin lives with her boyfriend Zach and their dogs Balor, Millie, Hank and Faith.  In her free time, she loves to crochet and watch crime shows.

Emily Helberg

Emily joined our office family in 2018 as a kennel assistant. She has a variety of duties such as  feeding, bathing and exercising animals while at our clinic. She also cleans the clinic from top to bottom as well as assisting the veterinary technicians as needed throughout the day.

Emily lives her two children Christian and Caitlyn. She has two Golden Retriever’s named Zeke and Nova along with her three cats.
