Suzi Slight, RVT
Suzi (Go Bucks!) Slight has been with the clinic for 40 years, the majority of those years serving as Veterinary Technician. Her duties include lots of client contact, both in and out of the exam room, answering questions for those who stop in to the clinic or perhaps call on the telephone. Suzi assists the doctors in the exam rooms, holding pets and collecting any lab samples necessary.
Suzi and her husband Don have three adult children and eight grandchildren, along with a Boston Terrier named Hazel and a yellow Lab named Butch. Her interests include OSU football during the season, camping and spending lots of time with her grandchildren.
Mary Radel has been with the clinic since September 1992. A graduate of Wauseon High School, Mary serves as Veterinarian Assistant. Her various duties include restraining animals and assisting the doctors in the exam rooms. She also works with inventory control, surgery preparation, and performs lab tests.
Mary lives in Napoleon with her husband Randy and they have a son, Josh. Their family also consists of a Bloodhound named Bristol and a cat named Junior.
Mary’s hobbies include camping and NASCAR races.
Denise Davis started working at the clinic July, 1998. She is the clinic Kennel Assistant, taking care of your pets while they are here.
Married on New Year’s Eve (1997) Denise and her husband Glen live outside of Malinta with their sons Paul, Glen Jr. and Rick. Movie fanatics, they have an extensive Disney collection. Sharing their home are their cats, Boots, Ines, Oreo, Sabrina, T.J. and Tiger.
Hope Kiessling, RVT, VDT
Hope Kiessling joined the clinic in April, 2000 as Appointment Secretary, attended Stautzenberger College in 2001 and became a Veterinary Technician. She’s also certified as a Veterinary Dental Technician. When your pet is here for a teeth cleaning and dental procedures, Hope takes excellent care of them. She also manages our inventory along with all of her other Vet Tech duties.
Hope and her husband Corey live in Defiance with their four children, Claire, Andrew, Rose and Luke. The Kiessling family also includes two cats Gypsy and Princess and a Newfoundland, Olive, a Corgi named Ripley,a German Shorthair Pointer, George, and Lionel a Bloodhound.
In her spare time Hope enjoys camping with her family.
Theresa Hite, RVT, VTS (anes-analgesia)
Theresa Hite is a graduate of Stautzenberger College’s Veterinary Technician program. She joined the staff at Napoleon Veterinary Clinic in 2003. Theresa was credentialed in 2011 for Veterinary Technician Specialty in Anesthesia. She spends most of her time taking care and monitoring pets before, during and after any anesthetic procedure.
She lives in the country in Wauseon with her husband, Justin and their four children, Carter, Colton, Carly and Caden. Other family members include dogs Buster and Rae and several playful outside cats.
Theresa’s hobbies include reading, horseback riding and scuba diving. She also enjoys rooting for Michigan and following the NFL.
Melissa Allen, RVT
Melissa is a 2015 graduate of Stautzenberger College and she joined our family in September of 2015. She helps and monitors our patients who are hospitalized, works in laboratory, x-ray and pharmacy.
Recently married to Brian, she now resides in Malinta with their three dogs, Chloe , Lucy and Chevy.
Melissa’s hobbies include hunting and fishing.
Hailee Smith, RVT
Hailee graduated from IBC Vet Tech Institute in 2015 and started working with us in March of 2016 as our newest Vet Tech. Hailee helps and monitors our patients who are hospitalized, works in laboratory, x-ray and pharmacy.
Hailee has two dogs, Charlie and Emma along with cats, Lou, Raven and Willow. She loves going on shopping trips and pampering herself to a manicure.
